Beaded bezel ring by Mortira of Inspirational Beading |
Mortira has many free tutorials on her blog, and if I featured her double spiral rope or spiral peyote here, I would have to call this entry I Already Made That! Monday.
But bezeling is something I haven't gotten around to trying yet. I've got some rivolis in my stash I've been meaning to play with. This is where I'll turn to when I'm ready. I know that her concise directions and clear photos will guide me through it.
(What's I Might Make That! Monday, you ask? The The IMMT!M Archive is here, or click on the link at the top righthand corner of the page.)
I love that ring too! I don't have any rivoli's in my stash, and I'd love to bezel, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
ReplyDeleteI love that ring, too! And I love, love, love that Random Tutorial Generator. I thank you so much for that. It's caused me to waste hours & hours but loving every second of it!
ReplyDeleteThis is incredible coincidence of circumstances, but I have learned how to bezel a Swarovski crystal also from Mortira's tutorial. It is so precious for me,that I thanked Her very warmly for that lesson.I wouldn't have done so and many of them, without that tuto.I have had lots of precious and beautiful books about the crystal use in this kind of jewelry, more or less legible for the beginners, but I can admit, the Mortira's tuto has given me the most.
ReplyDeleteYour ring is so nice and really nice i those fine, happy colors.I love it very much and I can say,as for the first time-it is astonishingly perfect in the technique You have applied.
Many Greetings and a Big Hug-

ReplyDeleteI always find, afterhaving published the comment, that I 'eat' letters when writting:-)
Sorry about that:-))
Thank you for the comments, everyone. Halina, I do want to make clear that I did not make that bezel ring--it was from Mortira--it's the pic she uses to illustrate her tutorial. So you have her to thank for the happy colors and expert technique. But I do plan to try bezeling very soon!
ReplyDelete(P.S. to Halina: I have been enjoying your blog mybeadworld very much and admire your work--but I don't see a place to leave comments on your blog. Otherwise, I would be leaving you words of praise there!
