I subscribe to a boatload of jewelry-making RSS feeds and e-newsletters. (I bet you do, too!) Because I want to start posting at least twice weekly, I've decided to launch a new feature every Monday that will celebrate some discovery I've made of a cool tutorial. (This will also be my lazy way of aggregating this content, because I find myself saving links and sites, but am never able to find them afterward from wherever I've stored them.)
My only criterion for selection is that it must be something that I myself might reasonably be able to make, or seriously aspire to make.

I Might Make That! Monday:
The PDF is

Bonus! Have fun with this
Random Tutorial Generator, featured recently in the
Craft Gossip e-newsletter, filled with all kinds of clever DIY projects.
Oh, heck yeah! Cause then I can just come over here and search for that tute I just loved, but can't remember the name of it..... :) Great idea, and I do so love those earrings!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I might just have to hop on that bandwagon myself.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of "I might make that" tutorials saved, plus pictures with no tutorial.
I learned a while back not to bookmark but to copy the darn tutorial or picture and then save it to my computer with some descriptive name, e.g. pendant with seeds no crystals, etc... I also got in the habit of pasting the link at the bottom of each tutorial so I would have a reference. One more lesson, I have a folder for "things I have made" tutorials.
Searching is still a pain but not as bad as it was.
Love this idea! Also love that random tutorial generator. I had that open all last week and every time I had a spare 10 minutes (hour), I'd page through some more! I love all the creativity on the web!
